About the ROLE

Within the Technology team an important new role has been created to own the ‘Business As Usual’ activity and play a vital link between business operations and Technology. The System Administrator will be the first point of contact for the internal service desk, solving as many problems directly as possible and when unable to solve directly, completing investigations as far as possible before handing over to other members of the team. The successful candidate for this role will be a service orientated individual, with a natural flair for problem solving and a positive ‘can do’ attitude, ready to get out of their comfort zone and work with some best in class applications we have within our technology eco-system.

  • Responsible for the internal systems service desk to ensure the entire technology ecosystem is supported.
  • Leading the investigation on all tickets raised to the service desk.
  • Resolving problems in business critical applications such as NetSuite, Celigo, Adobe Commerce (Magento), etc.
  • Service Desk reporting, identifying trends in requests and problematic areas of the ecosystem.
  • Staff training, helping staff to become as self sufficient as possible in completing their tasks.
  • Occasional project delivery for smaller scale project or as member of a wider project team.

Requirements

This role is for you if you:

  • Have worked in a service desk/end user support environment.
  • Are good with people, and familiar working in small teams.
  • Have experience in retail/eCommerce environments.
  • Have experience of the applications below (advantageous but not essential):
    • JIRA
    • Celigo
    • RFSmart
    • NetSuite
    • Avalara
    • OneShip
    • Adobe Commerce (Magento 2)
    • Tipalti
    • PowerBT
