Job Description

IMSA seeks a talented professional to join our Braselton team in the role of Transportation / Equipment Coordinator.

SUMMARY

Responsible for driving an IMSA truck and trailer to required events and maintenance of all IMSA equipment and vehicles used for race events. Will work at all events as needed and supervising the trailers at the race events as appointed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Truck driver for required events. Must be able to drive to events as prescribed while maintaining Department of Transportation (DOT) driving time regulations
  • Truck and trailer loading and unloading; setting up and breaking down of awnings, tech equipment and any equipment as needed
  • Truck and trailer scheduling and minor maintenance
  • Work to support all weekend officials by maintaining equipment and supplies; staff any IMSA trailers as needed
  • Responsible for equipment maintenance and care
  • Prepare truck logs, complete time cards and fuel reports after all trips. Approximate travel required: 80% including weekends

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

One (1) year certificate from college or technical school; or five (5) years truck driving and at-race track service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
