POSITION SUMMARY
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative and engaged group of Mechanical Design Engineers within the Vehicle Engineering Group. You will create and deliver engineering solutions with precision in a timely manner and implement testing programs to drive competitiveness and reliability.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Generate 3D models, Assemblies and 2D drawings including defining and documenting manufacturing information
  • Take technical ownership of a variety of projects on the car’s suspension, steering, brake and cooling systems.
  • Conduct testing to the highest standards prior to implementation
  • Discuss with other engineers or race team personnel, to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical feedback.
  • Close collaboration with internal and external manufacturing departments to ensure accurate and timely manufacturing can occur.
  • Strong, but diverse, problem-solving skillset in both mechanical and electrical systems
  • Be a role model for the mindsets and behaviors necessary to create an environment of trust, participation, and accountability
  • Comfortable with a dynamic, fast paced, highly variable business.
  • A good knowledge of Automotive Electrical systems would be an advantage.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Design or Automotive Engineering required
Experience: 5+ years of experience in a related field and industry
Computer Skills: Expert knowledge of Unigraphics NX CAD or related design software. Matlab. Pi ,Motec or similar data acquisition software. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
