Job Description

Summary

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of a Jr. Analyst, Data Strategy based in our Daytona Beach, FL office.

The Jr Analyst, Data Strategy, works within the reporting infrastructure for the Data Strategy Department and its affiliated Platforms (NASCAR Data Warehouse,Motorsports Consumer Data Platform, Tickets.com, etc.).  The responsibilities include the creating automated reporting, ad-hoc requests as well as forward looking ‘consumer modeling’ to create marketing opportunities for NASCAR, NASCAR Digtial Media, Tracks, Teams and any other stakeholders within the Motorsports Industry. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver consumer lists and reports from the Industry-wide Database. Reporting should include:
    • Ticketing purchase intent
    • Likelihood to activate any product offer
  • Fulfill the daily delivery of all reporting requests for the Platform stakeholders to ensure accurate fulfillment of marketing campaigns and tracking.
  • Work with the development/infrastructure teams to create and monitor:
    • All naming conventions
    • Verifying Data for accuracy
    • Regularly verify functionality/stability across all Database Properties
  • Recommend, prioritize and acquire key data points from primary or secondary data sources
  • Profile customers to identify needs/wants/behaviors in key or new market segmentsDesign comprehensive data reports and presentations to assist business managers and executives in making good business decisions
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Analyze business procedures and recommend specific types of data that can be used to improve upon them
  • Able to write survey questions, interpret response data, and create reports or presentation of results.
  • Resolve all reporting issues quickly and accurately while also updating processes
  • Travel: 5%

Education and/or Experience                                                   

Bachelor's degree from four (4) year college or university required plus a minimum one to two (1-2) years of current data operations experience; or equivalent combination of eduction and experience.

Computer Skills                                                  

Proficient on all Company provided hardware and software with experience in mobile technologies.  Emphasis on Data technologies including Tableau, SQL, SAP, Adobe and other common data software (data visualization, data mining and modeling tools).
