Coordinator (m/f/d) BOM/Parts Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coordinator (m/f/d) BOM/Parts Management to join our team and provide support to our design department. As the Coordinator (m/f/d) BOM/Parts Management, you are working together with a dynamic team you will be involved in all aspects related to Teamcenter e.g. positioning parts in Catia Digital Mock-up and you are supporting the whole process of building and maintaining digital assembly structures, create standard parts, document, visualize and communicate changes as well as derive Bill of Material (BOM).

Your Tasks:

  • maintenance and development of Teamcenter structures for the Design and Development areas
  • ensure that the relevant operations tools are up to date
  • be involved in all aspects related to Teamcenter e.g. positioning parts in Catia Digital Mock-up (DMU)
  • take the responsibility for the whole process of building and maintaining digital assembly structures, create standard parts, document, visualize and communicate changes as well as derive BOM (Bill of Material)
  • close cooperation with and support of all involved groups (e.g. clarify specification, reporting and data supply) are also part of the job
  • management and coordination of the company wide Problem List, Test Item List and Proposal List (Ontime database)
  • your responsibilities are to organise Change/Problem Meetings and prepare adequate management reports as well as ensure that all problem management and closing activities are reviewed, documented and deviations or critical situations are flagged to the management

 

The successful candidate will:

  • have a degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or equivalent
  • display experience in building and maintaining medium to large size digital structures
  • be proficient with, data management systems (Teamcenter), CAD (preferably CATIA V5: solids, surfaces & drafting), SAP and MS Office (in particular Excel)
  • have sound English language skills
  • be a team player who demonstrates a responsible, diligent and creative working style with good project management capabilities, work independently to high standards with a minimum of supervision, have distinctive interpersonal skills and a flexible approach to working hours as well as the ability to perform under pressure
