We are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) for Customer Motorsport to oversee the GT4 project with daily tasks based out of our Cologne headquarters.

Your Tasks:

Be a pioneer for future Customer Motorsport (CMS) commercial strategies

Oversee global GT4 project and liaise with Toyota Motor Corporation and regional distributors

Set and deliver on milestones, forecasts, budgets, resources & project charter and risk management

Provide the scope for the commercial team to increase the global network of customers competing in TGR-E race cars

Lead the vision of marketing activities for CMS

Stay up to date about global GT4 activities and market direction to better serve TOYOTA GAZOO RACING customers, improve project targets and support the distributor network

Analyze and optimize existing processes while conceptualizing and developing new process

Oversee TGR-E CMS events, engage with customers and provide support during event as required
The successful candidate will have:
-
A university degree in management or similar
-
Profound experience within the global customer motorsport automotive industry, e.g. GT3, GT4 or Rally 2
-
Comprehensive technical understanding within the field of motorsport

Verifiable experience as project manager in a commercial driven environment, ideally with an automotive manufacturer

Have sound English language skills

A “customer first” approach with strong interpersonal skills to actively develop and use collaborative relationships in order to achieve results, when required also using appropriate soft skills to reduce tension and resolve conflicts

Drive for results and deliver stakeholder satisfaction

Experience in dealing with Japanese culture would be a bonus
