Your responsibilities

Summary:

Responsible for all activities necessary related to Customer Accounts Receivable; including working with GSS to assure payments are posted timely and reconciled immediately, regularly monitoring customer accounts to remain current and within terms. Work with external and internal customers to resolve disputes or conflicts. Organize data, post results, reconcile accounts, and resolve chargeback and pricing issues to collect amounts due within specified parameters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • New Customer account setup: Evaluate, obtain approvals, enter information in SAP working with CSR Supervisor.
  • All AR functions: work with GSS to assure cash was posted correctly, reconcile customer accounts, manage charge backs and pricing issues, collections. Follow up on all customer accounts > 30 days past due. Document customer response. Send statements to customers as necessary.
  • Maintain Customer risk levels in SAP.
  • Release deliveries in SAP on daily basis for certain risk-level customers
  • Prepare month-end A/R report for all Aftermarket Customers, highlighting issues.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with Customers using tact and consideration.
  • Assist in preparation of financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist in coordination of annual physical inventory.
  • Assist in documentation and testing of Internal Control System (ICS)
  • Assertive in resolving problems: need to interact with various departments to resolve issues
  • Scan daily delivery notes to computer drive

Your profile

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting/AR preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
