Alpine F1 Team have an excellent opportunity to join our Aerodynamics Software Team, based at our Enstone factory, as a Software Engineer. We are looking for a motivated, self-driven individual to contribute to our relentless pursuit of performance.
The Role
You will be part of a software team whose purpose is to support and evolve existing tools, as well as to create new solutions to help the Aerodynamic Department continuously improve the performance of the car.
You will have a collaborative style, working closely with other software engineers and members of the aerodynamic department to ensure that deliverables are on time and to the agreed quality. To enable this collaboration, you will be required to work from the office at a minimum of 4 days per week.
You will have a degree in computer science or a related field, and recent proven professional experience of C# .NET development within a development team.
Our technology stack is based in the following tools and technologies, knowledge in one or more of these would be advantageous:
- Programming languages: C#, Python
- .NET (6+)
- Web: Blazor
- Services: gRPC, REST APIs, GraphQL
- Databases: SQL, NoSQL
- Other: Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka
The Person
We are looking for individuals with good analytical and problem solving skills who are ready to accept the challenge of working in Formula 1.
You will be organised, methodical, and demonstrate the ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and articulate challenging concepts in understandable terms. You should also be able to deliver high-quality results, under pressure and within tight timescales.
