Machine Shop Operator

Based in Alzenau, near Frankfurt in Germany, Hyundai Motorsport GmbH is responsible for Hyundai’s global motorsport activities and primarily for its World Rally Championship program. We are currently looking for a Machine Shop Operator to join our team.

Main tasks

• Preparing & operating CNC machines according to program. Tool setting & change, clamping devices.
• Working on manual devices like lathe, mill, surface grinder, saw and drill.
• Preparing and operating 3D printer (AM) according to program.
• Pre & post operations. Chamfering, cleaning & maintaining.
• Part marking with laser engrave machine.
• Safely operating equipment to recommended safety specifications, including use of all protective equipment while identifying any safety hazards and reporting all risks immediately to a supervisor. 
• Meeting specified deadlines for producing car parts to keep race car preparation while producing a quality product.
• Maintenance of machines in order to hold precision and quality.
• Openly communicating with team members in manufacturing and engineering departments to machine and develop functional and quality components.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a machinist or comparable qualifications.
• Experience on operating manual & CNC machines.
• Machining aluminium, steel, plastic and inox. 
• Basic knowledge in programming, Fanuc is an advantage.
• Knowledge on Windchill is advantage & ability to read technical drawings is a must.
• Team player with technical skills who demonstrates responsibility, reliability and an independent working style.
• Attached to details, guarantee of high quality of preparation to latest technical standards.
• Proficiency English is mandatory.
• A flexible approach to working hours and extensive as well as the ability to perform under pressure.
• Willingness to learn more about new manufacturing technologies.
