Analytics Solutions Manager

The Analytics Solutions Manager will work closely with a number of departments including marketing, partnerships, digital product, media rights, comms, to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions.

You will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures. You will use advanced modelling and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes. You will be in charge of managing audience measurement and reporting for F1 and partners, develop solutions to make data accessible to the business, and generate insights.

The right person for the job will apply their exhaustive knowledge of data analysis to solving real-world challenges faced by our company, and finding opportunities for improvement across multiple projects, teams and business units.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyse business functions and key operations and performance metrics. Manage reporting, target setting and projections for audience metrics (e.g. web & app, social media, comms, database)
  • Build, develop and maintain reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions (data studio, Power BI /Tableau).
  • Lead cross-functional projects using analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modelling, visualization and communication deliverables.
  • Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders across departments, and with partners.
  • Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to data, technology, budget and business within your department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.
  • Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.
  • Drive business value and action from your analysis, from leading business meetings and capturing requirements to presenting clear and compelling stories with actionable recommendations
  • Lead conversations with Product and Technology teams, ensuring we are capturing, ingesting, and surfacing the right data to enable reporting and analytics, as well as Marketing utilisation of valuable audience data and customer interactions.
  • Working with the technical teams on the implementation of the marketing analytics tools

About You

  • Extensive experience in an analytics role- client or agency side
  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analysing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.
  • Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.
  • Experience with PowerBI, Marketing Analytics, SQL, Data, Insight, Tableau, Google Analytics
  • Able to filter high volumes of information to focus on key insights
  • Ability to Navigate imperfect data sets and complexity/ambiguity of analysis to derive clear insights and actionable results
