General Summary:
This position reports to the Global Technology Operations Manager or their designee and is based in Banbury, UK. This position plays a critical part in developing, implementing, and maintaining leading security solutions ensuring the global estate is always protected from new and existing threats, the ability to innovate and continuously develop security operations to deliver a best-in-class service for the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
- Take a leading role in maturing and developing the team’s security posture.
- Build and develop solutions to continuously monitor the global estate for signs of security incidents and breaches. Responding to these promptly.
- Draft and execute plans to correct, mitigate, or resolve identified security issues and gaps/exposure through configuration, architecture, policy, process, procedure, tooling, reporting, or third-party products and services.
- Administer, maintain and develop existing security tools including identity, endpoint, network and on-prem/cloud applications.
- Work with outsourced security suppliers to help manage such security services that are not provided in-house.
- Coordinate security activities such as penetration testing, security awareness training, red teaming, education and threat intelligence gathering.
- Help mature, develop and promote new and existing policies, processes and culture to improve information security and risk management awareness throughout the team.
- Collaborate and support multiple departments to ensure information security is embedded throughout the team. Including in-house software and development activities.
- Through innovation and automation, find ways to mitigate and remediate threats and vulnerabilities.
- Identify and implement leading edge security technologies that add the most value.
- Evaluate and prioritise identified security risks.
- Generate and provide regular reports on security metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of security measures and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide a path of escalation for the service delivery function for complex security issues.
- Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
- Other duties as assigned by the Global Technology Operations Manager or their designee.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in deploying and maintaining enterprise level security technologies and systems, including Identity & Access Management (IAM), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), cloud security, vulnerability and patch management. With a strong understanding of the impacts of these systems.
- Solid knowledge and experience in Microsoft Azure/365 (or equivalent) environments and their associated security suites.
- Solid understanding of networking and firewalls.
- Experience in incident response, business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
- Good understanding of Information Security & Risk Management frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 & MITRE ATT&CK.
- Working knowledge of code review platforms.

Education and Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in security engineering.
- Further education such as BSc or MIS in an ICT related qualification or equivalent experience required.
- Security certifications are advantageous.
- Exposure to racing and international environments is advantageous.
Work Environment Physical Demands:
An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role may require occasional international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including some weekends.
This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast- paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must ensure compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, and all relevant other statutory Health and Safety legislation.
