At M-Sport, we are dedicated to supporting motorsport manufacturing and customer programmes spread across a variety of National and International rally and race series on a vast range of stages and circuits in the most acclaimed motorsport championships. Based at the historic Dovenby Hall Estate on the doorstep to the Lake District, our team of highly skilled Technicians and Engineers work closely together through each step, from design, to build and manufacturing, and then running our elite competition cars.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Car Build Technician to join our ever-growing global motorsport engineering company.
Duties will include:

Building, setting up & commissioning of our range of competition cars.

Assemble and disassemble as required all rally cars and rally car components, ensuring they are built to the agreed standards.

Ensure that all assemblies are built to a build procedure and that build checklists (where applicable) are completed and are visible for inspection.

Proactively support others to complete their tasks.
The ideal candidate should have:

Be educated to technician level.

Have a thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems.

Have a strong analytical approach and a meticulous attention to detail.

Offer a professional image at all times to clients, sponsors etc.

Previous motorsport experience would be an advantage.
The role requires a consistently high level of performance and quality in a highly pressurised and time sensitive environment. The role would suit a self-motivated team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. A flexible approach to working hours is required. This position would suit a newly qualified technician or Junior Technician looking to experience working within a global motorsport team.
