Performance Friction is a racing and high performance disc brake manufacturer and a leading researcher and innovator in disc brake technology with an immediate need for an experienced Sales Territory Manager in the Northeast (New Jersey) area.
We seek an aggressive results-oriented sales professional who desire a high level of accountability in a very competitive industry.
Successful candidate must have previous experience in selling into the Automotive/aftermarket industry.
- Makes sales contacts, researches customer needs and develops application of products and services.
- Develops and delivers sales presentations and closes sales.
- Participates in sales forecasting and planning.
- Participates in development of new products, modification of existing products and termination of ineffective products.
- Manages technical aspects of committees and working groups.
- Timely manages assigned sales budgets.
- Develops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers using established guidelines.
- Familiarity with CRM systems-ie; SalesForce, HubSpot, etc
- Daily updating of sales planners and forecast tools.
- Ability to identify decision makers, create relationships and close sales.
- Familiarity with the automotive service environment and the decision hierarchy.
