Senior Account Executive

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Formula One or Formula E Account Manager to join our team focused on activating one of our global partnerships within motorsport. You will play a pivotal role in planning, ideating, and implementing campaigns and programmes for one of our biggest motorsport clients. Reporting into our Global COO and Head of Activation you will:

CLIENT / ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

  • Develop an excellent understanding of client strategy and brand objectives
  • Think outside of the box to deliver creative sponsorship campaigns aligned to support client strategy and brand objectives
  • Management of partnerships and relationships with key rights holders
  • Support Internal and All Agency brainstorms and ideas development
  • Development and oversight of project timelines, monthly budgets and client reporting
  • Oversee KPI setting and campaign evaluation with team
  • Run regular project and status meetings with senior clients (and rights holders where relevant)
  • Build strong relationships with client teams and network through the client organisation
  • Identify incremental business opportunities
  • Represent the 1440Sports brand to the highest of standards
  • Oversight and renewal of annual scope of work
  • Travel globally to represent clients on-site at motorsport events
  • Manage the on-the-ground experience for clients at motorsport events including travel, accommodation, dining, private events, etc.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED

  • At-least 2+ years of experience in sports marketing & activation specifically in either F1 or Formula E
  • Managing both small intimate as well as larger corporate events
  • Experience and gravitas dealing with senior executives at enterprise level organisations
  • Understanding and experience of the full motorsport landscape is preferred, but not essential
  • Take responsibility for delivering agreed level of activity and meeting deadlines
  • Team management – ability to delegate and manage a small team
  • Ability to prioritise workload and respond to client requests on time
  • Presentation skills (both writing and delivery), internally and to clients
  • Powerpoint experience is a must. Adobe Pro, Flipbook experience is a major plus
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written – and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of, and passion for, motorsport is a great plus
