Torque Developments International has been established for 40 years and we’re on a mission to merge science and craftsmanship, bringing high levels of technical competency to the Motorsport and High-Performance automotive industries. We do this with excellence, integrity, and transparency for B2B and B2C clients.
We're looking for at least 1 additional team member to join us on our journey into the future, and to be an intrinsic part of the company which will be transitioning to an Employee Owned enterprise.
The role is garage based in Thurrock, Essex in a clean and professional environment and is rarely pressurised, but from time to time there may be deadlines to achieve.
The role pays £40,000 to £50,000 per year (depending on your value) and the team participates in our profit share scheme which pays every quarter.
The successful candidate/s will have the following:
Essential Attributes:
- At least 5 years experience.
- Confident in working on a wide range of vehicles, from Historic F1 cars to current day race and high-performance road cars.
- Comprehensive and high quality personal tool kit.
- Ability and willingness to produce the highest quality outcomes.
- Presentable and personable.
Non-essential skills (that we can provide training for):
- MIG/TIG welding
- Engine rebuilds
- Gearbox rebuilds
- ECU calibration
- Suspension set-up
