Sales Territory Manager

Job Description

Performance Friction is a racing and high performance disc brake manufacturer and a leading researcher and innovator in disc brake technology with an immediate need for an experienced Sales Territory Manager in the Northeast (New Jersey) area. 

We seek an aggressive results-oriented sales professional who desire a high level of accountability in a very competitive industry. 

Successful candidate must have previous experience in selling into the Automotive/aftermarket industry.

  • Makes sales contacts, researches customer needs and develops application of products and services.
  • Develops and delivers sales presentations and closes sales.
  • Participates in sales forecasting and planning.
  • Participates in development of new products, modification of existing products and termination of ineffective products.
  • Manages technical aspects of committees and working groups.
  • Timely manages assigned sales budgets.
  • Develops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers using established guidelines.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems-ie; SalesForce, HubSpot, etc
  • Daily updating of sales planners and forecast tools. 
  • Ability to identify decision makers, create relationships and close sales. 
  • Familiarity with the automotive service environment and the decision hierarchy.
