DUTIES
- Supervise the work of technicians/installers
- Mentor junior apprentices and coach others to be the best in the field
- Estimate parts and labour costs
- Installation of performance parts and maintenance procedures on cars and light trucks
- Install and balance a variety of passenger and light truck tires, including wheel alignment
- Perform out of province inspections
- Maintain automotive service equipment
- Understand and adhere to safe operation of all equipment
- Observe all applicable job related safety and health procedures
Qualifications & Experience
- Truck lifting/lowering, suspension components and airbag/compressor systems
- Audio/Video upgrades
- In depth knowledge of and background in technical diagnosis and repair as well as electrical systems
- Well organized, motivated and ambitious
- Willing to learn new skills and share experience
- Flexible schedule and able to work on Saturdays
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Can lift up to 100lbs
- Can perform basic and custom installs in an efficient manner while maintaining the highest level of quality
- Strong passion for domestic cars an asset
