Our Warehouse Assistants are the last touchpoint between us and the customer and therefore, they play a crucial role in ensuring that we fulfil out promises to the customer through excellent quality and presentation of products.

Reporting into the Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for receiving goods in from our factory and customer returns, quality checking helmets and accessories to ensure that they are to the highest standard and match the original golden samples and picking and packaging orders with acute accuracy to send out to the customer.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Receive goods-in by offloading lorries, ensuring that the items and quantities match the packing list.
  • Prepare documentation for the quality inspection process, including detailed reports and performance records.
  • Relay information to the Quality Assurance team regarding any quality issues and question the nature of defects whilst providing solutions, to enhance quality control standards.
  • Make recommendations for improvement measures to production processes to ensure that quality control standards are met.
  • Carry out quality inspection to ensure products are ready to be shipped to the customer with the highest levels of quality and accurately match the original golden sample.
  • Make necessary repairs to the helmets and accessories as required.
  • Handle customer-returned products, verifying that the correct item, in the original packaging, correlates with the customer’s order in preparation for scanning.
  • Make judgement calls on what constitutes ‘new’ and acceptable and, what items need to be scrapped.
  • Complete all computerised documentation and data input effectively and diligently.
  • Prepare items and orders to be picked up by courier service, ensuring that they match the relevant paperwork.
  • Assist with warehouse inventory controls which involve the use of handheld scanners.
  • Replenish stock according to our standard operating procedures.
  • Report any damaged or missing goods to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Maintain good housekeeping by keeping the warehouse clean and tidy, including maintaining equipment.
  • Adhere to workplace Health and Safety rules, reporting any defects or hazards through the correct channels.
  • Any other duties as required.

Requirements

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU:

  • Have experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Are comfortable lifting up to 20kg and standing for long periods of time.
  • Are a problem-solver by nature.
  • Have excellent communication and team working skills.
  • Can be flexible during busy periods, for example, Black Friday and launches where shifts will change to include early mornings and evenings.
  • Are able to work independently, efficiently, and professionally at all times.
  • Enjoy working in various roles across a warehouse.
  • Have meticulous attention to detail; you pride in ensuring that products will reach the customers in the best possible quality.
  • Have technical skills and ability to allow you to do basic data analysis and reporting.
  • Have a forklift / counterbalance licence - this isn’t essential but it would be beneficial.
  • Have a driving licence - this isn't essential but it would be beneficial.
