SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER 100% (all genders)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to work in an agile software development team
- Develop software for all areas of the company such as analysis software for race and data engineers, logistics and performance
- Specify tool requirements in close collaboration with the software users
- Generate documentation for developers and users
- Support the customers using the software
- Maintain the source code and test the software
YOUR PROFILE
- An engineering degree (e.g. in computer science, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering)
- Experience in software development using Microsoft Visual Studio
- Very good C# expertise and good C/C++ knowledge
- Experience with .NET including WPF (Windows)
- Experience with Linux (advantageous, not a requirement)
- Expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL and/or Entity Framework (advantageous, not a requirement)
- Experience with a message broker, such as Kafka (advantageous, not a requirement)
- Knowledge in cloud computing (advantageous, not a requirement)
- Strong English (verbal and in written) language skills
- Pragmatic work attidude and a distinct analytical approach at the same time
- Highly self-motivated, dedicated, creative, result-oriented and able to work independently with a very high attention to the detail of your work
- Stress tolerant, persevering, open-minded, innovative and a team player with a strong focus
- Ready to support the racing team on a few weekends during the season to help with unexpected problems with the software (on-call service)
