SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER 100% (all genders)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to work in an agile software development team
  • Develop software for all areas of the company such as analysis software for race and data engineers, logistics and performance
  • Specify tool requirements in close collaboration with the software users
  • Generate documentation for developers and users
  • Support the customers using the software
  • Maintain the source code and test the software

YOUR PROFILE

  • An engineering degree (e.g. in computer science, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering)
  • Experience in software development using Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Very good C# expertise and good C/C++ knowledge
  • Experience with .NET including WPF (Windows)
  • Experience with Linux (advantageous, not a requirement)
  • Expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL and/or Entity Framework (advantageous, not a requirement)
  • Experience with a message broker, such as Kafka (advantageous, not a requirement)
  • Knowledge in cloud computing (advantageous, not a requirement)
  • Strong English (verbal and in written) language skills
  • Pragmatic work attidude and a distinct analytical approach at the same time
  • Highly self-motivated, dedicated, creative, result-oriented and able to work independently with a very high attention to the detail of your work
  • Stress tolerant, persevering, open-minded, innovative and a team player with a strong focus
  • Ready to support the racing team on a few weekends during the season to help with unexpected problems with the software (on-call service)
