ELECTRONIC SYSTEM DESIGN ENGINEER 100% (all genders)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work as an electronic system design engineer in a well-established Formula 1 racing team developing vehicle concepts/variants, considering the F1 2026 vehicle regulations that are currently obeying developed, with the focus on optimal PU integration
- Design and package a wide range of electro-mechanical assemblies, interacting with the different engineering departments inside our team, complying with the agreed specifications and constrains.
- Liaise with FE Analysts to ensure that components are analysed and optimized
- Model and design components and assembly installations using 3DExperience electrical design package
- Create 2D manufacturing drawings and supporting the manufacturing and build processes
- Take care of the test bench installation
- Follow reliability issues and successfully solve faults in an efficient and timely manner, as well as introducing continuous improvements
- Support the design of off-car components and assemblies
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in engineering or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role in F1/Motorsport
- Good knowledge of wiring loom design as well as related problem solving
- Good knowledge in composite and tooling design
- Good knowledge on Catia/3DExperience
- Experience using electrical schematics design packages
- Professional English language skills
- Experience in working inside a team with multidisciplinary engineers
- Independent and precise way of working even under time pressure, highly self-motivated and result-oriented
- Performance driven with winning mentality
