Key responsibilities
- To support the Senior Producers and Executive Producer in the planning, creation and development of Formula 1’s digital video output, focusing on both shortform social content and creative features.
- To carry out the entire production process on projects, from ideation to storyboarding, scheduling, planning, supervising the editing process, and ensuring projects are completed to deadline.
- To supervise work being undertaken by Editors and junior Producers, providing guidance and creative vision, delegating tasks and monitoring performance. Ensure that projects are fully compliant with F1’s internal policies and procedures. To keep fully aware of styles and developments in Digital video production and steer the creation of F1’s content accordingly.
- To oversee the final content production, ensuring that all the appropriate elements are technically sound and factually accurate.
- To keep fully aware of all developments in Formula 1 and to use this knowledge to ensure that Formula 1’s content is contemporary and factual. To occasionally edit content using Adobe Premiere.
- To occasionally travel to race events (if required), to organise and produce video content on the field.
About You
- At least an HND or equivalent qualification in Media Studies or similar, with focus on video production.
- At least three years’ experience producing video content.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent English language skills
- Excellent understanding of Formula 1 Motorsport.
- Broad knowledge and understanding of current production styles and techniques
- Highly motivated and ambitious, keen to embrace new challenges
- Ability to maintain a positive outlook despite setbacks and challenges
- Flexible – the role requires weekend, evening or night work, depending on deadlines and the time zone of each race event
- Ability to work well under time pressure
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
