As the Manufacturing Engineer - BIW, you will use your process improvement experience to quantitatively assess current production/business system performance and execute change to reduce cost and optimize capacity.
This role demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a holistic understanding of manufacturing operations.
Create concept & production ready surface solutions compatible with concurrent engineering exercises to the McLaren Design Process (MDP) & program timing.
Support the Manager and Head of in the delivery of any outsourced hard models, from ergonomic bucks through to show car properties.
Drive the program forwards delivering design intent whilst fulfilling the business’ requirements.
