Senior CAS Manager

What to Expect

We are recruiting for a Senior CAS Manager to join our fantastic Design department in Woking. As the Senior CAS Manager you will be responsible for the team of Alias and ICEM designers to create and release production-feasible aesthetically-optimised surfaces to the highest quality of execution, on time to support component production release schedules. Accountable for the quality, content, compatibility, and timing of surface releases.

What You'll Do

  • Strong People Management responsibilities with a strong technical background in Alias, ICEM and Project Management.
  • Inputting into the SRF surface release schedule at G1.
  • Instigating and running the surface quality reviews from SR1.
  • Structuring the surface data files and create new surface numbers from SR2.
  • Attending the project timing meeting, project concept engineering reviews, project design reviews and project development meetings.
  • Presenting surfacing status at gateway reviews.
  • Agreeing responsibilities of surfacing developments cross departmental.
  • Ensuring seamless CAS data transition from “creation” to “delivery.”
  • Chairing Agile scrum meetings, setting the priority of Agile ‘Tasks’
  • Providing technical advice for individual surfacing concerns.
  • Evolving the high-level surface timing plan including surface release schedule for all programmes.
  • Writing, releasing, and maintaining MSLs for CAS methodology and standards (MSL business process).

What You'll Bring

  • Excellent people management experience leading a large team.
  • Education to degree level minimum.
  • Relevant Automotive Design experience of 15+ years.
  • Product development process awareness 12+ years.
  • Degree qualified or industry experience in relevant environment.
  • Excellent program timing skills.
  • Proven experience of multiple exterior and interior programs.
  • High engineering knowledge
  • Deliver programs from G0-G4.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Adobe preferred.
