Wholesale Sales Associate - Friday-Tuesday

The Wholesale Sales Associate position requires the individual to effectively communicate and handle day to day customer service and sales related tasks. Applicant must enjoy communicating and talking to customers on a daily basis as well as be strong in client retention and procurement of new accounts. Other responsibilities include: order entry and processing, fielding wholesale sales calls, new account and warranty questions and contributing to company growth by generating ideas for expansion to new markets.

Where you’ll spend your time:

  • Confer with wholesale customers by telephone and email to provide information about products and/or other customer inquiries
  • Resolve customers problems or concerns by following company policy and using good judgment
  • Utilize sales and relationship building skills to develop new and maintain existing wholesale accounts
  • Accurately capture record of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken
  • Order entry and processing of orders received through the phone, email, fax, or the internet
  • Work with internal departments and external business partners to resolve customer issues
  • Demonstrates good judgment, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with both internal/external customers
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed.

You have/possess:

  • 2 years’ of demonstrated experience working in a customer service or wholesale distribution sales environment taking incoming calls over the phone preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Extensive product knowledge of aftermarket performance parts
  • Strong account management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of product/vehicle fitment with particular emphasis on sport compact applications
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Ability to be self-motivated, honest, and punctual
  • Possess a positive attitude with ability to be a team player who is open to change
  • Technically savvy with basic to intermediate proficiency with MS Excel and Word; familiarity with Point of Sale systems / NetSuite / Zendesk, or other CRM solutions preferred
