Welder Fabricators urgently required for a company based in Bristol BS16 area. My client requires candidates with tig welding and fabrication working skills with aluminium and mild steel.
Excellent opportunity for a Tig Welder/ Sheet Metal worker to join a highly successful and secure manufacturing business in a days based role offering the opportunity to boost your earnings through plenty of overtime.
5 years (current experience) + mig welding black steel + fabrication experience would be sufficient.
Welding Material sizes vary from 1.5 to 15 mm for standard profiles, There are also separate components consumables that need to be welded to frames which can be as thick as 30mm for individual item.
Welding Machines use standard Mig Welders.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks according to specifications and blueprints
- Assemble and weld components using various welding techniques, including stick welding
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and finish metal materials
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure finished products meet quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute fabrication projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Proficient in welding techniques, including stick welding
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience working with sheet metal materials
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools and power tools used in fabrication
- Mechanical knowledge for understanding equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to assemble, weld, and fabricate metal components accurately and efficiently
Hours 07.30-16.30 Monday to Friday
