Are you a skilled welder with a passion for transforming raw materials into precision-crafted structures? Do you possess expertise in metal fabrication and welding techniques? Interaction have an exciting opportunity for a talented Welder Fabricator to join our clients dynamic team!
The Position:
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to fabricate metal components according to specifications.
- Operate welding equipment and utilise various welding techniques, including MIG and Tig welding, to join metal parts accurately.
- Ensure the structural integrity of fabricated components by conducting quality checks and inspections.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to contribute to the fabrication process from concept to completion.
- Handle metalworking tools and machinery, such as shears, press brakes, and plasma cutters, to shape and form metal materials.
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist in material selection and inventory management to ensure timely project completion.
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding and fabrication issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
What we need from you:
- Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG) and metal fabrication methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Skilled in using metalworking tools and machinery for cutting, bending, and shaping metals.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in executing welding and fabrication tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adhering to project timelines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in welding and metal fabrication.
