The Video Production Manager ensures that professional-level spots and videos are executed in a collaborative production-oriented team environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage Supercross Opening Ceremonies
- Develop video ideas and concepts
- Film, edit, produce opening ceremonies & rider intro videos
- Coordinate with teams and riders on concepts and filming
- Design sets & looks for rider headshots
- Coordinate with voice over talent
- Create graphics, titles, special effects, animations
- Gather licensed music for live event
- Film race action, local landmarks, stadium
- Log all footage shot at event
- Shoot and edit Supercross 101 video
- Shoot and edit merchandise video
- Create stadium jumbotron graphics
- Edit crew video
- Handle equipment needs
- Manage MEC Opening Ceremonies
- Develop video ideas and concepts
- Film, edit, produce opening ceremonies & intro videos
- Manage Supercross Awards Ceremony Video Content
- Develop ideas and concepts
- Film, edit, produce awards videos and skits
- Coordinate with teams and riders
- Design and create graphics & animations
- Manage OEM/ Rider Footage requests
- Cut clips weekly for social use
- Provide teams/ riders with clips for social content
- Produce Rider interviews
- Design and light interview backdrops
- Film, edit interviews and get soundbites
- Edit Rider Bios/ Profiles
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- 2+ years of production-oriented work experience, preferably in a motorsports environment.
- Experience with Brand teams and ability to follow guidelines and understand the style, production, and protocols is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of MAC platform, Final Cut Pro and Adobe CC Premiere.
- Adobe CC After Effects experience a plus.
- Flash / HTML5 / digital / web experience a plus.
- Must be flexible and have the ability to edit quickly.
- Ability to shoot, record and edit video and deliver in proper formats for broadcast television.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Attention to detail and follow through. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Team player.
- Ability to travel for extended periods of time. (Approx. 30-40% travel)
