An exciting opportunity exists for a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer within our Vehicle Science department.
The role is multi-disciplinary and may include simulation studies, analysis tool development, model correlation, performance analysis, chassis rig testing, race & test support, evaluation of new concepts and DIL simulator operations. The position will involve close cooperation with the Software, Design Office, Aerodynamics, Controls and Race Engineering departments.
Fluency in MATLAB is required, while experience in the following is preferred but not essential:- ATLAS, C# or other programming languages, Simulink, Simpack, Dymola, RT systems.
The ideal candidate will possess an excellent degree in engineering or a related discipline, exhibiting strong problem solving and mathematical skills. The ability to work effectively whether as part of a cross-functional team or with minimal supervision is a prerequisite, as is the capacity to report complex technical information clearly and professionally. Previous high-level motorsport experience is preferred but not essential.
