THE ROLE
We have a new opportunity for a Transmissions Technician to be apart and strengthen our busy Transmissions team. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of high-performance transmission units, our Transmissions Technicians develop skills across a range of competition vehicles with the potential for international travel as part of our winning teams.
The role responsibilities include:

Working alongside our experienced technicians rebuilding top-specification transmissions units across all our projects. These include; Ford Puma, Fiesta, and Rally Raid.

Servicing customer transmissions systems for a variety of high-performance competition vehicles.

Working closely with our Transmissions Supervisor and Designers on technical issues identified and suggestions for improvement.

Building Transmissions units from technical drawings and following the build procedures.

Responsible to keep all build documents filled and up to date.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
You should be educated to technician level and have a thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems.
You should pride yourself on your attention to detail and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
You should have excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving and implementing solutions with an analytical approach.
You should have experience in a similar mechanical/automotive background. Experience within motorsport is desirable but not essential.
