M-Sport are a renowned world championship winning team, involving some of the greatest names and achievements known within the motorsport industry. Based on the historic Dovenby Hall Estate in the scenic Lake District, our team of highly skilled Technicians and Engineers work closely together throughout each step, from design, to building and manufacturing, and then running our elite competitive cars on stages and tracks around the world.
With the 2022 season underway, we are looking for a Transmissions Technician to immediately join, to work alongside our team of highly skilled Technicians in our busy Transmissions Department.
Duties will include:

Working alongside our experienced Technicians rebuilding WRC specification transmissions, for both Ford Puma and Fiesta.

Servicing customer transmissions systems for 2017 WRC Ford Fiesta and Ford Focus WRC.

Creating post event reports to provide feedback to our engineering team.
The ideal candidate should:

Be educated to a technical level

Have a thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems.

Have a strong analytical approach and a meticulous attention to detail

Always offer a professional image at all times to clients, sponsors etc.

Previous motorsport experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

Be willing to travel.
The role requires a consistently high level of performance and quality in a highly pressurised and time sensitive environment. Experience in a similar race or rally setting would be an advantage. The role would suit a self-motivated team player with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. A flexible approach to working hours is required and extensive world travel involved.
