LOCATION: INDIANAPOLIS, IN – IN-OFFICE ATTENDANCE, NOT HYBRID, NOT REMOTE

FLSA/SALARY: NON-EXEMPT

REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF TICKETING

GENERAL:
The Ticket Sales Coordinator is responsible for selling single day, full event, groups, and premium seating tickets for NHRA National Events via outbound telephone sales. The Ticket Sales Coordinator will be required to service existing accounts, potential clients, assist to create new group and ticket sales programs, and any other duties as required. The TSC will receive ticket sales training, tools and sales support as needed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Make 100 outbound sales calls daily.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly ticket sales goals while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records for prospect and customer records within the CRM and Ticketing systems.
  • Generate new business by prospecting and cold calling for new business.
  • Represent NHRA at National Events and outside events in the community promoting ticket sales.
  • Strive to achieve company, department, and personal goals.
  • Attend weekly meetings and actively participate in training sessions.
  • Effectively follow up with clients and prospective clients in order to establish relationships and improve customer experience.
  • Assist customer service efforts during renewal campaigns.

MINIMUM SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Experience in a call center environment is a plus.
  • Experience in ticket sales is preferred.
  • Required proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Must maintain a high quality in all work including accuracy and timeliness.
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively with clients and all levels of management both in writing and verbally.
  • Paciolan Ticketing software experience is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work at a computer all day.
  • Ability to talk on the phone as needed, potential high call volume.
  • No heavy lifting required.
  • Must be able to travel as needed to NHRA events via car or air.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends during events.
