We are looking to hire a Technical Manager for Emissions Certification to join our Powertrain Certification team.
An exciting opportunity to become an integral part of the Certification team and be instrumental in the practical delivery and strategic planning of future certification projects. A broad understanding of conventional gasoline powertrains and also hybrid and electric technologies is preferred. The successful candidate will work across all of the upcoming Bentley projects and be required to work with each of the relevant departments and also get the opportunity to work with other VW Group brands.

- Appropriate experience working in the Automotive Industry or related industries.
- Experience of process from launch to production.
- Strong influencing skills and communication, with a commitment to building positive relationships with other functions, and Group as an outward facing expert.
- Ability to share technical knowledge effectively with others, coach and guide as appropriate.
- Demonstrable experience of process improvement activities within the specific technology.
- Good business awareness and ability to make and influence strategic decisions within business context.
- Has demonstrable knowledge applicable to the technology areas in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- The cycle plan and competitor products.
- A proven knowledge of relevant departmental /Company systems and technical workings.
- Understanding and application of all required sign off legislative and environmental requirements.
- Demonstrable knowledge and application of Company problem solving tools and skills.
The successful candidate will be educated to a Degree in Engineering.
