As a Key Contributor You Will work with the lead engineers to ensure compliance with all requirements and ensure all interfaces are well-characterized, tested and documented.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Maintains product-specific execution plans for system-level aspects compatible with Terrafugia processes
- Coordinates and integrates with requirements engineering, design integration, and other engineering functions to ensure adequacy of the verification and validation (V&V) approach for development of successful compliance against requirements
- Analyzes system- and component-level interfaces to identify problem areas and propose mitigation approaches
- Serves on Change Control Board by assessing impact of proposed engineering changes on system interfaces and providing a technical recommendation of the proposed change and its impact to company leadership
- Serves as the risk manager for the vehicle system by identifying, communicating, documenting and resolving potential risks related to the products and processes
- Identifies, documents, and coordinates technical aspects for development of new interfaces / functionality or changes to existing complex system functionality to support market-driven or specific customer requirements
- Improves processes, tools, and procedures
- With some guidance, coordinates technical roadmaps
