When Formula 1 World champion Lewis Hamilton talks to his pit crew, an announcer gets cues from the control room, or a referee at the Olympic Games consults with the time keepers – all of this is made possible by products from Riedel Communications.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design systems or assist customers, system integrators and Riedel sales staff with system designs (select appropriate devices out of the Riedel portfolio, recognize non out-of-the box application and find alternatives), combining technical and commercial aspects
  • Manage customer projects for sales and rental
  • Configuration of systems and demo equipment incl. commissioning, programming, updates of soft- and firmware, managing the demo stock
  • Coordination and performance of on-site service, demo and trainings in the region
  • Receive calls and emails and answer technical requests (troubleshooting)
  • Representing the company at international trade fairs and events
  • Active participation in special projects

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Successfully completed university studies or completed occupational training e.g. in electrical engineering, communications/audio-engineering or IT
  • Cisco certification (or equivalent) desirable.
  • Proven service/support experience in a relevant market field, ideally in the broadcast and entertainment market
  • Knowledge of communication, audio and video technology as well as IT-based systems
  • Team player that fits the personality and basic setting of the UK branch office; Ability to cross-domain thinking and willingness to collaborate closely with other company functions
  • Mobility and willingness to travel within the UK and Ireland
  • English (fluent to native) is a must
  • Driver’s License
