The ideal Supply Chain Manager will have a strong understanding of information flow and product flow as well as a proven track record in order fulfillment, inventory management and procurement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Creative problem solver and strategic decision maker
•Ability to juggle numerous projects
•Ability to mentor and coach a developing group
•Proven ability with managing in excess of 10K SKUs
•Comfortable with working in a warehouse /manufacturing environment
•Hands on technical background required
•Track record of increased responsibility inventory returns and on time delivery
•Assist in new system development for forecasting, planning, purchasing and distribution
•Work with key customer/national accounts to create a demand plan to include volume, mix, trends, and timing
•Act as the key liaison between customer(s) and suppliers
•Monitor inventory levels onsite through forecasting and planning to minimize costs and increase inventory turns
•Purchasing in support of manufacturing’s day to day operations; including administering the vendor quality management system and negotiating contracts including complex raw material contracts and supporting toll-manufacturing activities.
•MRO experience is a plus
•Customer Service; Working closely with each market segment leader to demonstrate and define advantages of our services to the customer; coordinates on a daily basis with the customer service team.
•ERP and MRP System onsite expert generating reports and looking for opportunities to improve company performance under the purchasing, shipping and logistics functions; assist other employees with advanced functionality training. Knowledge of QAD and SAP desirable
•Warehousing and Spare Parts Inventories; Works closely with the plant operations team to determine/assist in procurement of operational needs to include special projects and spare parts inventory.
