More about the position:
As a Software Tester I (entry level), you will work with a team of enthusiastic engineers and calibrators who are passionate about producing high quality products that our customers enjoy. You will play a key role in : testing and validating new and existing software and firmware features on the Accessport and Accesstuner products; assisting in the release process of our software products; documenting test results and explaining features details to sales and support teams.
Key responsibilities and scope of work include:
- Perform basic product testing by executing test cases for a product.
- Create clearly documented defect reports that enable the developer to recreate the bug.
- Clearly document test results (benchmarks) for review and documentation.
- Work with other team members to increase knowledge and understanding of broader areas of product or component functionality, architecture, standard routines, development framework, and debugging practices.
- Maintain QA and CSR resource knowledge base.
- Advocate from the customer’s perspective when investigating defects.
- Attend various group meetings and help provide test status updates.
