Abbey Precision Ltd is a precision engineering company based in Bradwell Abbey, Milton Keynes, that specialises in high precision component manufacture primarily for the motorsport, automotive and military sectors. Abbey Precision is the Mercedes F1 Supplier of the Year 2017 (metallics), employing 45 people across two shifts. We are a busy, forward thinking company investing heavily in automated plant and technology to maintain our position as a key supplier to the industry.

We are looking to recruit a site supervisor. This is a middle management position within the business, which may suit someone looking to move into a similar role, or an ambitious individual looking to progress into a management position.
Overtime is regularly available. We have a generous pension scheme, death in service benefits, and pay profit related bonuses, for all employees.
ROLE and DUTIES:
1. To supervise our assistant caretaker and undertake their duties if they are absent.
2. To manage health and safety in the business. We retain the services of a H & S consultancy firm, and systems are well established.
3. To co-ordinate the ordering of cleaning and site management supplies.
4. To undertake basic maintenance tasks in the business, such as replacing lightbulbs, and decorating.
5. Assist senior management in making decisions on future investment on the fabric of the building.
There may be the opportunity to progress within the company for suitable candidates.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Experience of caretaking/cleaning of an industrial or similar site.
2. An interest and knowledge of DIY.
3. Good communication skills.
4. A full clean drivers license (preferred).
5. Knowledge of health and safety.
