Shipping Associates

The Shipping Specialist is a full-time role, expected to maintain the shipping department to receive manufactured products, manage quality control duties, order preparation, and shipping and receiving. This role is expected to be knowledgeable of Fabspeed Motorsport products and often works independently in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for following all health and safety procedures that promote a safe working environment throughout the facility.

The role is responsible for:

  • Receives incoming goods and organize into appropriate inventory

  • Liaises with department leadership to assist with any questions related to order status, questions, etc.

  • Maintains outbound shipping list and daily team plan of action

  • Prepares orders in accordance with quality standards

  • Fulfill orders, creates labels, and prepares outgoing shipments

  • Manages all shipping supply needs

  • Maintains safe and clean service center in accordance with procedures

  • Maintains company tools and technology in good order and clean condition

  • Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • 2 - 3 years' experience in a Shipping/Receiving environment (Required)

  • Ability to recognize and understand basic automotive parts (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Self-initiative and Resource Utilization: Advanced (Required)

  • Mathematical Skills: Basic (Required)

  • Reasoning Skills: Advanced (Required)

  • Computer Skills: Basic (Required)

  • Attention to Detail: Advanced (Required)

  • Solid critical thinking skills to anticipate and solve problems in a systematic manner (Required)

  • Ability to work independently (Required)

Physical Demands of the Job

  • Lift/carry/push or pull: Frequently 50 lbs.
