Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Wind Tunnel Systems Engineer to join our Aerodynamics Technology Development group.
The group’s remit is research and development of tools for aerodynamics development. In this role you will be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary design team, involved in a variety of innovative and cutting-edge projects primarily for our state-of-the-art wind tunnel model and facilities.
As a senior member within a development group, you will also be required to act as a mentor to other Wind Tunnel Engineers, guiding development on various projects while also managing your own workload.
What we look for:
- A strong mechanical understanding, with a hands-on approach.
- Experience with hydraulic systems.
- Lead with a creative and proactive approach to problem solving.
- Ability to understand and work to drawings.
- CAD experience (Preferably Siemens NX).
- Experience of servo control systems and the associated hardware
- Be familiar with AC & DC motors, sensors and connector technology.
- Knowledge of motorsport data acquisition systems.
- Setting and achieving targets, bringing creativity and innovation to our development group.
