Senior Programmer

What we need you for……

We are looking for an experienced Senior Programmer to work on an exciting Racing Title based in our Liverpool studio.

You will be responsible for the implementation and improvement of all systems for current and future projects.

As a Senior Programmer you will work closely with other teams both internal and external to help us shape the technology powering the next-gen racing games.

You will be responsible for the day to day development of game features across one or many platforms.

And, most importantly you will also be responsible for the design and implementation of game systems within a title, potentially mentoring and managing programmers to help achieve your goals.

What you’ll be doing……

  • Drive improvements throughout the codebase alongside the rest of the technical team.
  • Required to design, implement and debug features within the game.
  • Share your knowledge and experience with the rest of the team.
  • Assist internal teams and provide support to external partners.

Experience you’ll need……

  • Knowledge of build and pipeline systems within game development.
  • Knowledge of source control and asset management tools.
  • Expertise in C/C++ programming.
  • General engine development experience.
  • Experience using Unreal Engine 4.
  • Knowledge of Multi-platform development.
  • Experience developing physics solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience of Console/Mobile games development desirable.
  • Knowledge of motorsports/race cars ideal but not essential.
  • Good "can do" attitude.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
