Senior Engineering Technician

We have a new opening for a Senior Engineering Technician in our Aftermarket organization.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Performs assembly and disassembly of turbochargers.
  • Support turbo balancing in the assembly of turbochargers.
  • Perform basic precision inspection on turbocharger components.
  • Troubleshoot and or fix issues and or problems encountered during assembly.
  • Support RMA/Warranty program through failure investigation and disposition.
  • Generate and or fulfill Production Orders as required.
  • Maintain Inventory accuracy by fulfilling all production orders correctly and completing the process until all parts are back flushed.
  • Read blueprint as required in the assembly of turbochargers.
  • Perform SAP transactions for Production, Warehousing, and Inventory Management.
  • Support engineering projects and or requirements.
  • Support 5S program.
  • Perform all other jobs as instructed by the manager.
  • Manage Tech Line with inquiries from Performance and Master distributors.
  • Cooperates, as long as it is necessary, with the employer and/or with the assigned workers, to enable the employer to ensure that the work environment and the working conditions are safe and without risks for their safety and health, in its field of activity.

Minimum Qualifications Include:

  • High School Diploma or acceptable equivalent diploma.
  • Must be familiar and or knowledgeable with component level balance and assembly balancing, operating balance equipment and being able to create balance program for all wheels.
  • Must have a good knowledge in the assembly and disassembly of turbochargers.
  • Must be familiar with the use of pneumatic and mechanical tools as well as cleaning equipment used in rebuild of turbos.
  • Must have technical and mechanical experience to support Motorsports Engineering projects and or tasks.
  • Must be able to read blueprint.
  • Ability to operate forklift.
  • Must have warehousing experience to maintain the accuracy of the warehouse inventory.
  • Must have knowledge in SAP or equivalent essential in warehousing and production.
  • Must be a team player and willing to learn.
  • Must be able to carry/lift 25 to 30 lbs.

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is:

Hourly Minimum: $32

Hourly Maximum: $40
