Job Description

As a Senior Commercial Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in securing new partnerships across the VCARB and Red Bull Technology portfolio, propelling our brand into the next phase of evolution. Amidst changing times, your creativity and innovative thinking will drive commercial revenue, supporting both on-track and off-track success.

While the primary focus is on securing fresh partnerships, you’ll also collaborate with the Head of Commercial on strategic initiatives. This is a chance to stand out from the crowd, be an architect of change and pioneer the commercial entertainment industry!

What You’ll Be Doing:  

  • Sales – Developing leads, securing meetings, and building relationships with prospective partners at the most senior levels through external approaches, existing corporate relationships and building an industry network and profile.

  • Renewals – Support the Head of Commercial in evaluating existing contracts – and working towards renewals to ensure stability amongst our network of partners.

  • Strategy – develop new ways to maximise revenues for the team for new prospects and incumbent partners.

  • Presentation Materials – Development of a full suite of bespoke and tailored partnership sales materials, proposals, and presentations to suit the needs of individual companies.

  • Prospect Management – Overseeing, with support of your team, the maintenance of up-to-date records of all sales and business development contacts and activities.

  • Contracts – Support the closing of partnership deals including negotiation of commercial terms and working alongside VCARB’s Legal team and the Head of Commercial to conclude contractual agreements.

Essential Competencies and Experience:

  • An in-depth knowledge of macro-level challenges CXOs and brands are facing in the current climate.

  • Strong sales background with proven track record in securing multiyear partnerships with global brands.

  • Ability to build strong relationships at C-suite level.

  • Proven experience of working in sponsorship, marketing or a similar sale focussed role.

  • The ability to use Adobe InDesign would be beneficial.

  • An understanding of the Red Bull brand and what it is to embody that every day.
