YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Full responsibility for the achievement of sales and profit contribution objectives given in the sales region
  • Creating and developing new long term business and market opportunities
  • Key account management in all relevant market segments (Broadcast, AV/Fixed Installation and Corporate accounts) including developing the current channels
  • Conducting contract negotiations, e.g. framework agreements, service level agreements
  • Maintaining intensive contacts with clients to identify long-term time trends in demand and supply behaviour
  • Working closely with the local team and the other divisions to implement the findings from market and competitive analysis, in particular product management, development, production, marketing and project management
  • Participation in optimization and continuous development of the sales organization through continuous improvement of business processes
  • Representing the company at trade fairs and events

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  •  Successfully completed (technical) university studies, e.g. in industrial engineering or a combination of business and technology
  • Extensive proven sales experience in a relevant market field, ideally in Broadcast or in the AV & Fixed Installation market
  • Knowledge of communication, audio and video technology
  • Knowledge of IT-based systems and their business models
  • Experience in interactions and presentations at C-Levels and knowledge of the essential tools for self-management, negotiation and problem solving
  • Capability to manage direct relationships with customers as well as to establish and maintain partnerships with VAR (value added resellers), distribution partners and SI’s
  • Business-minded personality that is respected and accepted in sales issues by the management, colleagues and employees
  • Natural authority, sociable and outgoing personality with strong persuasion
  • Team player with ability to cross-domain thinking and willingness to collaborate closely with the local organisation and company functions
  • Mobility and willingness to travel
  • French fluent to mother tongue and fluent English is a must have
