WHAT TO EXPECT
Suspension. Engine mounts. Wheels and tyres. To provide an exceptional driving experience, every chassis component needs be honed to perfection. That takes all kinds of people, from designers to project managers.
As the Requirement Engineer, you’ll support the delivery of the chassis and control system. This may involve working on delivering a physical component, a set of related components, or software into a vehicle programme. Working alongside a System Architect, you’ll cascade high level system requirements into your own sub-systems and components, using logistical architecture and system analysis. You’ll also support the System Owner with system analysis. Across everything you do, you’ll ensure all requirements are robust and meet our quality standards.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
With a technical background in chassis control systems, you’ll have practical experience of working with physical, electrical or software-based technology, alongside experience of working with a requirement management tool. Having a relevant degree would be preferred, as would previous experience within engineering or programme planning departments.
Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset, you’ll have the ability to deliver operational plans in a highly demanding environment. You’ll take ownership of finding and fixing system shortcomings; and you’ll be able to follow accurate and robust working practices. Drawing on your excellent communication skills, you’ll also be able to write concise and robust standard requirements, using unambiguous language.
