NJMP is currently hiring Registration and Security Staff!
A fast paced position in an exciting environment of the New Jersey Motorsports Park maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests, competitors, and associates. We are a service organization.
SECURITY STAFF MEMBER
Duties and Responsibilities
- NJMP Ambassador and Customer Service to our Guests
- Provide NJMP and Event Information Credential Control and Checkpoints
- Safety Awareness and Issue Resolution
- Paddock, Grounds, and Building Patrol
- Traffic Safety in Paddock, Pit, and entire NJMP facility
- Control of restrictive areas or special events
- Camping and Electric rental control to maximize revenue
- Effective and Professional Radio Communications
- Professional Conduct and Appearance
- Excellent people skills, be courteous and respectful at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education: A high school diploma or GED is necessary for this position
- Experience: Customer Service experience
- Prior Security experience is a plus
Physical Demands
- To perform the duties and the functions of this job, you will be regularly required to stand for extended lengths of time
- Must be able to speak fluent English and have suitable diction to facilitate clear and understandable radio and guest communications in English.
Work Environment
- Must be able to stand outdoors for extended periods and to remain alert and attentive during any on-track activities
- May be exposed to weather conditions such as excessive heat, cold, wind, or rainy conditions.
- Heavy lifting required for barrier set up and take down
- Training will be provided
Requirements
- Must have valid driver's license
- Be prompt and reliable
- Available to work a variety of hours and shifts, weekends and major events are a must. 8-40 hours per week.
- The Security department is in operation 24/7.
This is a seasonal position, March to Mid November.
