A/R Financial Analyst

SUMMARY: 
As a Financial Analyst with Ducati North America, you will be required to provide sound and objective analytical support while maintaining and monitoring financial controls. Acts as the Finance Business Partner to the Sales and Marketing teams by working directly with managers across all business units. You must have a strong understanding of the revenue and cost flows of the organization you support and proactively work to streamline and enhance the operational reporting and operational understanding of the organization. You will be responsible for working with an operations team to provide monthly forecasts and annual planning relating to revenues, cost of goods sold, and operating expenses.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and assist in metrics to measure performance, increase efficiencies and track key initiatives;
  • Generates reports in SAP, Excel and Access that support the company’s business processes and objective;
  • Research and resolve variances to forecast and budget as a part of each monthly close cycle;
  • Monitor and evaluate performance vs. plan for Sales Results;
  • Accountable for the entire credit granting process, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimizing the mix of company sales and bad debt losses;
  • Assists in the automation of the Finance function processes. Participates in process improvement projects, and ad-hoc analysis as required;
  • Various other tasks as assigned by manager;

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience with SAP, BW query language a plus
  • Advanced skills in Excel, SAP, Access, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook/ Exchange;
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and assimilate in new and changing situations;
  • Ability to work flexible hours in support of the business;
  • Detailed oriented - able to roll up sleeves and get into every aspect of the business. Wants to understand the dynamic of the business and is proactive in learning the business;
  • Ability to interact with senior executives and management teams and present information to enable Ducati to make the right decisions;
  • Ability to manage priorities and handle many simultaneous deadlines;
  • Ability to solve problems by gathering information, discussing options and making recommendations;
