In this role you will you will be responsible for ensuring quality measures are in implemented, conducting audits, leading investigations, resolving complex quality issues and supporting the wider functions in resolving their quality issues.

The role:

  • Planning quality activities for existing lines & successful new product introduction
  • Providing expert support to resolve quality issues
  • Conducting internal and external quality audits & ensuring that action plans are implemented & maintained
  • Continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coaching on quality topics

The person:

  • Significant experience of quality engineering within manufacturing sector ( ideally precision / fabrication / CNC background )
  • Ability to enthuse & influence others within the organisation of the importance and benefits of quality procedures
  • A strong analytic approach & detailed understanding of quality tools and proceses
  • Good understanding of ISO9001 or similar quality management system
  • Experience of continuous improvement methodologies
