We have a team of experienced designers and technicians who use up-to-date CAD, FEA & CFD & Pioneering Advanced Manufacturing techniques to ensure right 1st time delivery within compressed programmes. Dash-CAE leads the industry in specialist engineering derived from its F1 roots.
We are looking for an experienced Composite Inspector to assist the current team with a number of projects across, Motorsport, Automotive, Defence and Aerospace sectors.
Job purpose:
- To carry out inspection activities in support of composite team requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Dimensional verification of patterns, mould and components.
- Supporting with maintenance and calibration of measurement equipment.
- To liaise with Engineering & Manufacturing.
Professional qualifications/training Knowledge/experience
- Experience within the composites, automotive or aerospace industry is essential
- Must have sound knowledge of tolerancing & GD&T (technical drawing)
- CMM experience would be useful but not essential
- Full understanding of ISO 9001
Specific job skills/abilities
- Must have high level of attention to detail.
- Computer literate, Progress Plus knowledge would be highly advantageous.
