Hankook Tyre Australia is currently looking for Public Relations and Motorsports Specialist reporting to Senior Operations Manager.

ABOUT THE JOB

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of media, build strong relationships with journalists and developing award-winning national PR strategies. A key aspect of this role is to develop and execute the company's PR program nationally, to dealers and end users of the tyre market. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to collaboratively maximise the brand awareness on all PR aspects of the business including social media.

The Public Relations Specialist plays a crucial role within the marketing team, driving the brand image through both mainstream and digital channels. You will be the company's brand ambassador by creating and amplifying the band through press releases, editorial pitches, creation of media kits/programs, content writing, social media, news articles, trade shows, media interviews, PR events/roadshows and more.

The Public Relations Specialist must demonstrate proven experience in management of public relations programs and communications, and be able to integrate PR plans with digital activity.

The Key Responsibilities of this role

  • Plan and execute product launches and company announcements
  • Develop and manage public relations activities across traditional digital media
  • Identify and engage with key journalists and industry players to maximise PR campaign effectiveness
  • Working with internal stakeholders locally and globally to develop and drive the content strategy
  • Development of crisis management
  • Active involvement of Hankook's public affairs
  • Reporting of PR activities
  • Manage the relationship of motorsport dealers on a day to day basis

ABOUT YOU

  • PR and media experience is a must
  • Social Media experience
  • Strong Copywriting skills
  • Degree in Journalism, PR or Communications with relevant experience is a must
  • Passion for motorsports Industry
  • Excellent team skills but can also work autonomously
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
