Prototype Technician - Automotive Assembly

We are seeking experienced Prototype Assembly Technicians to support our growth.

Assembly Technician for low volume vehicle build programs requiring an individual to work closely with a small team of other Assembly Technicians, Fabricators, Engineers, and Mechanics to assemble prototype vehicles daily. Must be available to start immediately.

This position requires assembly of prototype vehicles per provided instructions. The Technician will work as part of a team to execute the requirements of the work instructions and process vehicle sub-assemblies and assemblies. Candidate must be familiar with hands on assembly and disassembly of mechanical and electrical components. Candidate will use work instructions, drawings, specs, and/or verbal instructions as well as exercise judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals. Based on instructions/information given, candidate will assemble fabricated products using standardized mechanics tools. Candidate should have the ability to check his/her own work and be very detail oriented to ensure a “world class” product. Teams must meet deadlines and document progress. Technician must be dependable, time conscious and work efficiently to achieve department goals on daily and weekly basis with minimal supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proficient in assembly and disassembly of mechanical/electrical structures

  • The ability to use/operate mechanics tools and hand tools.
